How to Clean and Care for Your NeeDoh

How to Clean and Care for Your NeeDoh

A little care helps keep your NeeDoh ready for its next squeeze. Always follow the instructions and warnings supplied with your particular product; different designs can have different materials and care needs.

How to clean a NeeDoh

Schylling's general guidance is to hand wash a dirty or sticky NeeDoh with mild soap and water, then allow it to air dry. Avoid replacing gentle hand washing with an improvised cleaning method. Check the packaging first, particularly for a product with an unusual surface or finish.

What if it feels firmer than usual?

According to Schylling, some styles, including Nice Cube and Gumdrop, can feel firm after sitting unused. The manufacturer suggests gentle kneading with the warmth of your hands. That does not mean using an appliance or an extreme temperature.

Never heat, freeze or microwave it

Schylling explicitly warns against heating, freezing or microwaving NeeDoh. Do not follow online experiments that suggest changing the temperature to alter its texture. Stick to ordinary play and the manufacturer's care instructions.

Check before play

Look over the toy before use. If it is damaged or leaking, stop using it and keep any loose material away from children and pets. NeeDoh is not food, even when its shape or name resembles a sweet treat. Follow the age rating and supervision guidance on the packaging.

Keep the details that make support easier

Save the packaging and your order confirmation. If you need help with a purchase from nee-doh.co, email sales@nee-doh.co with your order number, the product name and a description of the issue. A clear photograph can help explain a visible problem; do not send payment-card details.

Care information is based on Schylling's product FAQs and the warnings on its Nice Cube product page. Your product's packaging and instructions take priority.
